hey.  it's been a while so i just thought i'd make a post.
also, i'll be back in newfoundland for 6 days during christmas.  see some of you then!

we ended up comming back to Halifax yesterday. had a few drinks at Your Fathers Moustache and we eventually went to the seahorse and saw a few songs from The Establishment and The Eddy Bulls.

i would have loved to stick around to see Galactus. but as you can see its just after 6am and i just got up. mike's brother Jon is being dropped off at the Halifax Airport at 7am to meet a friend that is comming in. after that me and mike are headed to my new home - Charlottetown PEI.

North of America were awesome last night. and they're supposed to be going through PEI within the next month with Ted Leo. i've got plenty of nice NoA shots. they'll be posted in time.

i drank some wine.

leaving here tomorrow around 9am.
we're booked on the midnight ferry crossing.

this makes me so happy! i knew i was not going to get to see them at the halifax pop explosion this year so i was hoping that they'd come through PEI. but this works out even better!

after halifax it's onto Truro to visit strowbridge. this also really excites me. this is shaping up to be one hell of a road trip!

holy shit i have so much left to do before i leave. i'll get it all done. my goodness.

so it looks like i move away monday. maybe tuesday, but i'm thinking monday.
and i have so much shit left to do. and it's all stressing me out.

so, if i am in your company at all before i leave and start to freak out, i apologize. if you find i am short tempered or anything like that then please forgive me. i don't mean it.

as of right now i am jamming tomorrow with evan, mikeo and maybe danny/cara. along with anyone else who can make it. it ought to be in the mid-late afternoon. before the jam i am going out to get supplies that i need for school. after the jam i need to come home and start getting my shit together as i've yet to get anything together for my departure.

leaving a week before you planned on leaving leaves you with no time for anything.
how do student loans work? i have one, but where do i get the money from?

in other news. my last shift at the Wal-Mart Photo Lab is this friday. and my student loans appeal has come back to me. i'm not getting any extra money as i'm already getting the max loan amount. so now i am left with $900 to get to and from PEI as well as buy food and have general living expenses for my entire school year. ouch.

august 26th at the ship inn is the next installment of Danny Keatings WANKSTOCK. as part of wankstock, i am planning on doing a partially oganized random noise set. basically i want to get together with some people the week leading into the show and jam maybe twice just so that we understand the riff(s) we'll be making noise around.

anyone and everyone who is interested are welcome to get at me about this. the set length will be no longer than 30 minutes. so far there's me, jason mills and mikeo. maybe mikeb, i'll ask him if he wants to do this tonight.

i dont care what you play, or if you are actually able to play anything. if you are able to somehow produce noise then you are more than welcome to take part. come on, it'll be one of the last days that i'll be in town and it should be a bit of fun.
